Dental Hygienist

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dental prophylaxis to clean and maintain patients' oral health
- Conduct oral cancer screenings to detect early signs of oral health issues
- Take and develop radiographic studies to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning
- Chart conditions of decay, disease, and other oral health concerns accurately
- Perform procedures in compliance with the dental practice act and established safety protocols
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Collaborate with dentists and team members to develop and implement treatment plans
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist
- Proven experience in performing dental prophylaxis and radiographic procedures
- Knowledge of oral health conditions, dental anatomy, and infection control protocols
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and compliance
