A rare opportunity to work at Rakuten Travel, Japan’s largest online travel agency (OTA) to expand international markets and be part of the next stage of growth of the company.

We are seeking a passionate and proactive to support Rakuten Travel’s local market strategy, leading the execution of local campaigns, and driving initiative to build an influential and quality online travel brand in Hawaii.

Responsibilities :

- Responsible for inbound travel from Japan by supporting contract with hotels and promoting them to customers in Japan.

- Current situation analysis for partners (mainly hotel partners)

- Consulting to partners, aimed at creating win

-win online travel / accommodation plans for online sales.

- Plan and create accommodation plans.

- Production support for online customized pages.

- Business development to increase advertisement sales to partners.

- Customer service support for local partners.

- Other adhoc duties

Requirements :

・Hawaii Resident

・Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Hawaii).

・Business-level English and Native-level Japanese proficiency.

・English Requirements: Please meet one of the following criteria:

-Citizenship of an English-speaking country.

-Holder of a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree from a university in an English-speaking country.

-TOEIC score of 800 or higher.

-TOEFL iBT score of 110 or higher.

-IELTS score of 7.0 or higher.

・Minimum of 3 years' working in hospitality or related.

・Experience working in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment with a track record of strong results.

・Proven track record of self-motivated performance and perseverance in travel or related industry.

・Able to work with minimal guidance and drive partnership opportunities forward.

・Strong attention to detail and have the ability to see the end game of each business opportunity.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Business, sales experience

- Customer service experience

Employment Type: Full-time

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (includes 1-hour lunch break)

Days Off: Weekends and Holidays
