As a school bus driver at North American Central School Bus, you are not only an essential worker, but also a HERO to children every day!We are looking for candidates who are responsible, love children, and are very reliable.We are proud to offer:Starting pay @ $22.20 p/h up to $24.11 p/h depending on experience*Weekly pay checks*Paid CDL training!Child ride-along (available at certain locations) *Guaranteed 4 hrs a day-with Summer and Extra work options available*Paid Holidays!*Referral, Safety, Attendance and Retention Bonus' available (varies by location) *Major Responsibilities:Drives a regular route, is a regular, spare or charter driver. Must read and understand street signs, route sheets and maps.Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus, including child checks.Transport students safely and greet the students with a positive attitude and smile.Cooperates and communicates with school personnel, parents, and students.Attendance at all safety and training meetings.Good verbal communication skills.Minimum Education & Certifications Required:High school diploma or equivalent.Must be 21 years of age.Must possess valid driver's license for 3 years or longer.All driver applicants must pass a background check, DOT physical and drug test.We are your friends, family, and neighbors - come join our Team!
